Influence of Feed Rate on the Performance of Hydrocyclone Flow Field

In order to clarify the influence of feed rate on a hydrocyclone flow field, numerical simulation was employed model pressure velocity air column, turbulent kinetic energy, and split ratio. The results revealed that static pressure, tangential velocity, radial increased with an increase in rate. When at inlet increases from 1 m/s 5 m/s, 5.49 kPa 182.78 kPa, 1.97 11.16 0.20 1.16 demonstrating high facilitated strengthening separation field. Meanwhile, rate, ratio decreased, indicating concentration effect improved. Additionally, formation time column reduced, field became more stable.
